THE BRIEF

The team had the opportunity to head over to Dublin to capture a case study video for PPDS at the luxurious Chancery Hotel.

The aim was to showcase how PPDS’ digital screens are being used within a premium hospitality environment, focusing on real-world applications rather than just the product itself. The goal was to create a case study video that clearly demonstrates how the technology fits into the space and enhances the overall experience.

OUR APPROACH

With this project, the focus was on showing the screens in context.

Rather than isolating the technology, we captured how it sits within the hotel environment, using a mix of wide shots and close-up detail to highlight both the space and the screens in use. The approach was kept clean and considered, allowing the visuals to do the work without overcomplicating the message.

As always, we worked closely with the PPDS team beforehand to understand exactly what needed to be communicated and how the video would be used, styled, and positioned.

THE PRODUCTION

Filming took place on location at The Chancery Hotel in Dublin, working within a live environment to capture the space as naturally as possible.

We focused on capturing movement, detail, and atmosphere, making sure the final video reflected not just the screens themselves, but how they function within a real hospitality setting. This helped create a more useful and realistic case study.

The shot came with challenges such as working in a public space, navigating drones around a busy environment, and dealing with differently lit environments. But overcoming them made the shoot that little bit more rewarding.

Once filming was complete, we returned to the studio to begin post-production, shaping everything into a clear and engaging case study video.

THE OUTCOME

The final video gives PPDS a practical way to demonstrate their digital screen technology in a real-world setting.

It’s now being used as a case study across marketing and sales, helping potential clients understand how the product works in practice rather than just in theory. By grounding everything in a live environment, the content becomes far more relatable and easier to understand.
