THE BRIEF
Tree Associates approached us to create a dynamic explainer video for their revolutionary Carbon Capture and Sequestration technology. Their goal was to clearly communicate the science and impact behind their breakthrough solution—one that captures over 95% of CO₂ emissions directly from industrial sources or the atmosphere and converts it into a liquid form ready for safe sequestration or reuse.
OUR APPROACH
We wanted to bring the cutting-edge nature of Tree Associates’ technology to life with clear, visually engaging storytelling. Our team developed an animated explainer that breaks down complex physics and engineering principles into accessible, compelling segments. The video highlights how the system works step-by-step, emphasising the unique advantages and environmental benefits of the technology.
Through a blend of sleek animations, isometric illustrations, and smooth transitions, we created a narrative that not only informs but also excites viewers about the future of carbon management and industrial sustainability.
THE PRODUCTION
The production involved close collaboration with Tree Associates to deeply understand the science behind their system. We translated technical content into a visually digestible format, showing:
The advanced flue gas capture process where CO₂ is compressed and cooled to liquefaction temperature
Precise separation of CO₂ from other gases within a controlled environment
The collection of liquid CO₂ for long-term sequestration or reuse, while safely releasing nearly CO₂-free clean gas back into the atmosphere
The video also outlines the major benefits: outstanding capture efficiency surpassing 95%, scalability across industries such as steel, power generation, marine, and cement, cost-effectiveness with minimal maintenance, and an environmentally friendly design free from hazardous solvents.
